16-07-25 Dixie is a sweet little Schnauzer who has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a kind, gentle home where she can truly settle and begin to experience all the love family life has to offer.

Although she’s on the shy side, Dixie has a calm and loving nature and relies heavily on her kennel friends for confidence and reassurance. For this reason, she would like to be homed with a kind, resident dog who can help her navigate the world, show her the ropes, and be her steady companion as she adjusts.

As Dixie has never lived in a home before, everything will be new and unfamiliar at first. She will need patient adopters who can guide her through the basics, such as house training, lead walking, and understanding that home life is a safe and happy place. With time and gentle encouragement, we know she will flourish.

Despite her initial nerves, Dixie is already showing us what a cuddle bug she really is. She looks at you with the softest, most loving eyes, and it's impossible not to fall for her. She's melting hearts here at the rescue and adores any affection that’s offered.
