  • Human family requirements

I could live with dog-savvy teens who understand my needs.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am neutered and ready to find my forever home!

Simon came to us from a breeder, and like so many ex-breeding dogs, he arrived frightened and unsure, with the weight of an unknown past and the world feeling far too big and overwhelming. At first, this gentle little boy would quietly retreat to a corner, trying not to be noticed, unsure of what might come next. But with patience, care, and love, Simon is beginning to realise that he is finally safe.

Now in foster care, Simon has started to blossom. After a much-needed groom, his coat had become painfully matted, he immediately looked and felt more comfortable, and with the discomfort behind him, his personality has slowly started to shine. His beautiful fur is already growing back, but what’s more wonderful is seeing the transformation in his spirit.

Love and TLC has made a world of difference. Simon has gone from freezing at human contact to gently asking for strokes and ear rubs. He’ll now place his paws on your leg for attention and happily accept treats from your hand. If lifted onto a lap, he’ll relax in no time, and he’s beginning to enjoy gentle cuddles. He’s learning that touch can be kind, and people can be trusted.

In the garden, Simon is a picture of joy. He loves to run, explore, and play with his doggy friends, he isn’t fazed by size and finds happiness in companionship. He’s even discovered the fun of toys, chasing them about with the glee of a puppy reclaiming the youth he never got to enjoy. Because of this, it’s important Simon finds a home with another resident dog who is kind and playful, someone who can help him continue to build his confidence and teach him what it means to live in a home full of love and fun.

Indoors, Simon is unbothered by household noises and is getting to grips with house training. He’s easy to groom and a quick learner who watches the other dogs closely, taking his cues from them. His confidence is growing daily, but he still startles with sudden movements and may dart away when approached too quickly. For now, he still needs time, patience, and a calm environment to truly thrive.

Simon is looking for a quiet, home where someone will continue his journey gently, without pressure, allowing him to grow into the happy, secure little companion he’s already becoming. He could live with calm, dog-savvy teenagers, provided they understand how to give him space and quiet when he needs it.
