24-10-25 Beautiful Zilly has come to us from a breeder to begin a brand new chapter in her life. When she first arrived a few months ago, she was very shut down and unsure of the world around her. With time, patience, and gentle care, she has slowly started to come out of her shell and show us the sweet, loving girl she truly is.

Zilly is still a shy little soul, especially around new people, but once she learns to trust you, her love and loyalty know no bounds. When she recognises her favourite humans, she gets so excited and will even whimper with joy just to see you.

She will need a calm and quiet home with another kind and confident resident dog who can be her friend and help show her the ropes of family life. Zilly takes great comfort from the company of other dogs and learns a lot from watching them.

She has started to learn how to walk on a lead and harness and is doing well, though she’ll need some continued gentle practice to build her confidence. As she’s never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient and understanding while she learns all about home life and picks up new skills such as house training.

When Zilly first came to us, we noticed that she was walking abnormally. She was assessed by an orthopaedic specialist and underwent surgery (a Tibial Tuberosity Transposition on both stifle joints) to help correct this. She has recovered brilliantly and is now ready to find her forever family.

Zilly’s perfect home will be one filled with kindness, patience, and gentle encouragement, a place where she can continue to grow in confidence and experience the love and comfort she’s always deserved.
