EDITH IS LOOKING FOR A HOME WITH MY FRIEND EDNA

03-09-25 Edith is one of several dogs rescued from a home in heartbreaking conditions. Their elderly owner, struggling with mental health issues, was overwhelmed, and the home had become dirty and unmanageable. Though not intentionally mistreated, the dogs went without proper care. Now safe with us, they're finally experiencing love and stability.

Edith is the dinkiest little lady with the sweetest soul and you can’t help but fall in love with her. This precious girl has come to us in desperate need of TLC and is now looking for a kind and loving home where she can spend her twilight years being loved and cherished. She is currently in foster with her friend, Edna and as the two have essentially spent their whole lives together, they would like a home where they can continue supporting each other on their next journey.

Edith also doesn’t know how to walk on a lead, so will need time, reassurance, and practice to gain confidence. Although, we think she would suit more in a home where she gets to relax on the couch and in the garden rather than going on long adventures. Edith has really settled into her foster home where she is learning house training and goes potty as soon as she wakes up in the morning, she takes ever so long naps in whoever's lap is the warmest, and absolutely loves to sunbathe and soak it all in while out in the garden.

Edith has arrived in a very poor condition. She has some mammary lumps that our vets will assess, along with dry, sore skin, fur loss, and an ear infection, all of which are being treated. She also has a heart murmur and arrhythmia which will need to be monitored by her adopters vet.

Despite everything, Edith and Edna are two of the sweetest souls just waiting for someone to open their heart.
