Ollie is one of several dogs rescued from a home in heartbreaking conditions. Their elderly owner, struggling with mental health challenges, became overwhelmed, and although the dogs were never intentionally mistreated, they went without the care they so desperately needed. Now safe with us, Ollie is finally experiencing love, stability, and the chance to flourish.

This stunning gentle giant has come such a long way since arriving. At first, he was shy and cautious, unsure of new experiences, but with patience and kindness his confidence has grown beautifully. He now greets us with a wagging tail whenever we call his name, walks nicely on the lead, and has even started to enjoy gentle fuss and affection. Most recently, he treated us to a joyful zoomie session in the play yard, a wonderful sign of his playful spirit beginning to shine through.

Ollie is a quiet, gentle soul who thrives with the reassurance of other dogs, and he will need a kind resident dog in his forever home to help guide him as he continues to learn about family life. He has never lived inside a home before, so his adopters will need to be patient while he adjusts and learns the basics such as house training. Due to his size, he will also need a very secure garden with high fencing.

He is steadily putting on weight, his coat and skin are improving, and his big heart shines brighter every day. He is currently receiving treatment for sore ears. Ollie would love a calm, understanding home with older children who can respect his space while he continues to settle.

After everything he has been through, Ollie is blossoming into the most loving, loyal companion. He truly deserves a forever home where he can feel safe, cherished, and continue to grow into the wonderful boy he was always meant to be. Whoever adopts Ollie will be very lucky indeed.
