27-08-25 Alison is a stunning girl who has come to us from a breeder and is now searching for a kind and patient forever home. Life has not always been easy for her, but she is trying so hard to take every new adventure with courage.

When Alison first arrived, she was timid and shy, but with time and gentle care she built so much confidence. She then went into foster, where sadly she didn’t settle quite as well as we had hoped and displayed some dominance behaviours that we had not seen here in kennels, and was ultimately returned to us. However, she has been nothing but an angel since she has been back. She happily shares her toys, bed, and blankets with her kennel friends and shows us every day just how sweet and loving she can be. We are told that she loves all people and loved attention from the older kids, so she could be homed with older dog-savvy kids who understand that she will need to settle in at her own pace.

Understandably, new environments can be overwhelming, so we feel Alison would really benefit from having another kind, confident resident dog, her size or larger, in her new home. Having a canine companion to lean on will help her feel safe as she continues her journey.

As Alison has only experienced living in a home for a short time, her adopters will need to be kind and patient while she learns about house training and gets used to walking on a lead. She may need a gentle introduction, but with support and love, she will blossom into the most wonderful companion.
