  • Human family requirements

I would like a home filled with love and kindness!

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog but I haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day while I settle in.

  • Training needs

I’ve lived in a home before but might have a few accidents at first.

  • Medical issues

I'm already neutered, I've started vaccinations and I've had an entropion repair.

23-07-25 Oscar is a beautiful Retriever who has travelled to us from Ireland in search of the stable, loving home he truly deserves. We believe Oscar began his life as a breeding dog and, at some point, was lucky enough to experience home life. Sadly, he found himself back at the breeding site, but his journey has now brought him to Wales and a fresh start.

Having lived in a home before, Oscar already responds to his name and walks nicely on a lead. He may need a little refresher when it comes to house training, but he’s such a gentle soul with a lovely temperament that we’re sure he’ll settle in quickly with the right support.

Oscar is a happy and confident boy who we feel could live as an only dog, as he’s quite content in the company of people and enjoys human interaction.

When he arrived, Oscar had an entropion in his left eye, which has since been treated by our vets. His temporary haircut around his face is just a small sign of the care he’s received and he will be back to his handsome self in no time.

Oscar is truly an all round good boy with a calm, loving nature. We expect this special lad won’t be waiting long for his forever home, he’s just so lovely.

He has a travel document.
