  • Human family requirements

I can live with dog savvy children.

  • Other pet requirements

I can be an only dog or live with other dogs. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would love a garden to run and play in!

  • Out and about requirements

I am just a puppy so I need to learn to walk on a lead.

  • Training needs

Like all puppies I will need to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have cataracts and will need to be referred to a specialist.

27-07-25 Joe is an adorable, affectionate pup who has come to us from a breeder, along with his equally lovely brother, Scott. Both boys were diagnosed with mild juvenile cataracts, which currently limits their vision. Without treatment, this condition may progress and could eventually lead to complete blindness.

We are looking for homes for them where their adopters would be willing to refer them to a specialist and get the wheels in motion so that once they are a little older they can have surgery to remove these cataracts and restore their vision to improve their quality of life. Cataract surgery can be costly and it would not be covered by insurance. Because of this, Joe and Scott are available for adoption by donation.

Joe is a sweet boy who adores and cuddle and doesn't let his cataracts hold him back and you wouldn't realise that anything is wrong with him. He is a typical, mischievous little puppy and whoever adopts him is going to absolutely adore him!

He is confident enough that he could be homed as an only dog, but he could also be homed with another kind resident dog as long as they wouldn't mind a cheeky puppy racing after them! We would also consider homing him with dog savvy children, who were old enough to be gentle with him, especially when he is recovering from treatment.

He would be best suited to an active home, with adopters who will enjoy taking him on walks and adventures once he is old enough and will keep him both mentally and physically stimulated.

Like all puppies, he will need to attend puppy socialisation classes and his adopters will need to agree to have him neutered at the appropriate age as per the adoption agreement.

If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet boy like Joe, and you're able to commit to his long-term care, he’ll reward you with endless love, loyalty, and gratitude.
