Alice
29-07-25 Alice is a beautiful Dachshund who has come to us from a breeder. This sweet but nervous little girl is still adjusting to her new world and needs plenty of gentle care and reassurance to help her feel safe.
At the moment, Alice prefers to stay tucked away in the back of her kennel, hoping to go unnoticed. But with time and the quiet, comforting presence of our kennel team, she does begin to settle and accepts gentle handling.
To help her build confidence, it’s essential that Alice has a kind, friendly resident dog in her new home. A canine companion will offer her the security she craves, sharing beds, offering guidance, and showing her that life as a pet can be full of warmth and joy.
As she’s never lived in a home before, Alice will need to learn all the basics, including house training and walking on a lead. These are big changes for a small dog, but with patient guidance and a steady four-legged friend by her side, she has every chance to blossom. Given how overwhelmed she currently feels, she will need an adult-only home will be the calm, peaceful environment she needs to truly thrive.
When Alice arrived, her bladder was a little inflamed, but she has had a follow up ultrasound and it is now back to normal.
Alice has been spayed and is ready for her forever home, she has had 3 teeth removed at the time of spay but this doesn't slow her down!
With time, patience, and love, we’re hopeful that Alice’s sweet personality will begin to shine, and she’ll find the happiness she’s always deserved.
