  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I've started to learn how to walk on a lead but need a bit more practice

  • Training needs

I am doing well with house training in my foster home.

  • Medical issues

I have a small lump near my hip, which the vets have advised leaving.

Diane originally came to us from a breeder in August 2025 and has very sadly been returned as she was unable to accept the man in the home. Although she struggled to bond with the dogs in her new home, Diane has met all the resident dogs in her foster home and whilst she was initially unsure about a bigger dog, soon realised they meant her no harm and is now comfortable with all the dogs she is currently living with. However, we think she would be happiest with dogs of a similar size who are calm and gentle. We are looking for an adult only home who are experienced with ex-breeding dogs and have plenty of patience to offer Diane the support she needs to build her confidence and begin to trust them.

Diane is clean in the house and, although skittish her foster mum finds her easy to handle and has taken her on her first walk. She was a little unsure at first but soon began to relax and has made a good start to lead walking.

Diane has a very small lump on her left hip, which the vets have assessed and believe requires no action at the moment, but it would need to be monitored by her adopters and their vet.

With love and TLC, Diane will start to trust her new family and your time, love and patience will be rewarded by watching her transform. If you think you can offer Diane the home she needs, please apply for her.
