Maud is a little angel with a heart full of love, patiently waiting for the forever home she so deeply deserves. She came to us from a breeder in poor condition, yet despite everything she has endured her gentle, affectionate spirit remains untouched.

At first, Maud is a little shy, but if you crouch down to her level, she will approach with a soft wag of her tail and a loving, sometimes cheeky look in her eyes that will melt your heart instantly. She has never lived in a home before, so everything from house training to learning the rhythms of daily life is new to her. But she is ready to take those steps with patient, understanding people by her side.

Maud finds comfort and joy in the company of other dogs. She walks beautifully on a lead, enjoys strolls alongside her kennel companions Lil and Jinky, and loves exploring the big yard with them off lead, playing and running with pure delight. She eats well with her friends and thrives when she has companionship nearby, which is why her new home will need at least one kind and confident resident dog to help guide her as she settles in.

The staff have noticed that Maud is hard of hearing and may have some impairment, her new family will need to be understanding of this and work with her on her needs. This sweet little lady has already shown incredible resilience. Despite having recent surgery to remove seromas, she bounces back with grace and good spirits, showing no signs of being held back by her past. Her gentle, loving nature shines in everything she does, and the staff and volunteers at Many Tears can’t help but adore her.

All Maud wants is a family to call her own, somewhere warm and safe, where she can curl up after a day of adventures and finally know what it feels like to be truly loved. Winter is coming, and she deserves not another cold kennel night, but a soft bed, loving arms, and a home filled with patience, understanding, and affection. Maud is ready to give all her love in return. She is not asking for much, just a forever family who will see the incredible little soul she is and give her the life she has been waiting for.

Maud has been spayed. During the procedure, five teeth were extracted, and three lumps were removed from the mammary area, two from the chest, and one from the left side. She has also received treatment for sore skin, but is doing much better. She is currently being treated for ear infections in both the right and left ears, the right be the worst. Maud has thickened cartilage in her ears that may become cauliflower ears in the future.
