Lovely Greta is a gentle soul who has come to us from a breeder to start her new life. When she arrived with us she was very shut down and incredibly nervous, but she is making slow but steady progress. She is still quite worried about humans, but she is now in a foster home where she is settling in well and starting to learn that human hands can be kind. She is already starting to seek out affection from her fosterer, which is wonderful.

Greta is fantastic with other dogs and would really benefit from and will need a kind, confident resident dog to help show her the ropes and teach her all about life in a home. We will be looking for a calm, adult-only home where she can take things at her own pace and begin to build trust and confidence in a quiet environment.

She has started learning to walk on a lead and harness and is doing very well and is enjoying sniffing and exploring with a waggy tail, but she can be quite worried about meeting humans on walks. She loves the garden and enjoys doing zoomies around it!

Greta had never lived in a home before moving to her foster home, but she is settling in well and is already clean in the home. She is happy to be left home alone for short periods as long as she has another dog for company and reassurance.

With time, love and kindness, we think Greta is going to blossom into the most wonderful girl.

Greta arrived with infected ears, which have been treated but may need to be monitored in the future. She has had 3 teeth removed at the time of spay as well as a hernia repair.
