Lovely Aloe has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. We were told she is a Poodle x Bichon Frise, though we feel she could possibly be a Cockapoo. When she first arrived she was sweet but nervous. She would greet us with a waggy tail, but then quickly cower when picked up.

Over the past few weeks, Aloe has come on in leaps and bounds and we are so proud of the brave and affectionate girl she is becoming. She now absolutely adores fuss and will paw at you if you stop stroking her. She will even shower her kennel mummy with kisses!

Aloe has also started learning to walk on a harness and is doing brilliantly considering she’s only just begun. She’ll still need some garden practice and quiet walks to start her off when she’s adopted, but she’s picking things up very quickly and we don’t think it will be long until she’s walking like a pro.

Even though Aloe’s confidence has grown massively, she will still need another kind and confident resident dog in her new home. She takes comfort from other dogs and often cuddles up with her kennel friends, so having a canine companion to guide her would help her feel safe, especially in the early days.

Aloe has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training.

With time, patience, and plenty of TLC, she is going to blossom into the most wonderful, loyal little companion, so please don’t keep her waiting much longer as she truly deserves her happily ever after.

Our vets have noted that she has cloudy lenses in both eyes and a small mammary lump which was removed at the time of her spay. Aloe was seen walking with a slight limp, but after a vet check and having some matts trimmed from between her paw pads, she has shown no further signs of lameness.
