  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I haven't tried walks just yet and will find this a bit overwhelming at the moment.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have been neutered and have had an eye tag removed from my right eye.

Ever has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for a kind, understanding home where he can finally learn what it means to be loved. When he arrived, he was a very frightened little soul who was completely overwhelmed by the world around him. He is still a very worried boy, but he is making steady progress.

During his time with us he has now learned that it's fine to take treats from us and has even learned how to play with toys. He has had a groom and behaved impeccably. We would love to see him in a home as soon as possible, as we think he will really start to progress further in a home.

Ever will need a calm, quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and where he can take things at his own pace. He has never had much socialisation before and clearly hasn't been handled much, so will need to learn that people can be gentle and kind, and that he is safe now. He relies on other dogs for comfort and so will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to be his friend and to take him under their wing.

He has never lived in a home before so his adopters will need to be kind and understanding as he learns all about home life and new skills like house training. He doesn't yet know how to walk on a lead and will need to practice in a secure garden until he is brave enough to venture further.

Ever may have a long journey ahead of him, but with love, time and understanding, we are sure he will blossom into the wonderful companion he was always meant to be.

He has arrived with a small growth on his upper right eyelid which has been removed at the time of his castration.
