Cira is a beautiful French Bulldog who came to us from a breeder in search of her forever home. From the moment she arrived, her affectionate nature has shone through - she absolutely adores people and would happily spend hours curled up on a lap, soaking up all the cuddles she can. Cira thrives on human company and is just waiting for the chance to be someone’s very special girl.

Kennel life really isn’t for Cira, as she is such a loving, people-orientated girl who longs for the peace and comfort of a home. She walks beautifully on a lead and enjoys gentle strolls, making her the perfect companion for easy walks followed by lots of sofa time. Although she can tolerate male dogs, Cira does get jealous when other dogs receive attention, so she would much prefer to be the only dog in her new home where she can have all the love and fuss to herself. Cira has met cats fine, and could be homed with dog-savvy cats.

As Cira has never lived in a home before, her adopters will need to be patient while she learns about house training and daily routines, but she is eager to please and it shouldn’t take her long to settle. She is currently a little overweight and has some muscle wastage in her hind end, so her new family will need to continue supporting her with a gentle exercise plan and healthy diet.

Cira came to us with an ear infection and polyps, and has recently had a total ear canal ablation (TECA) procedure at the recommendation of a specialist vet and is recovering well. Sadly, Cira is now deaf, but she doesn't let this slow her down. Her eye lenses are also slightly cloudy, which is being monitored and she has been spayed and is now ready for her forever home.

Cira is a truly gorgeous soul with so much love to give. She deserves a quiet, calm home where she can finally put her paws up, be cherished for the wonderful girl she is, and spend her days doing what she loves most – being close to her people.
