05-08-25 Darling is a gorgeous, tiny Yorkie who has come to us from her breeder in search of a new beginning.

She is currently very shut down, spending most of her day in her bed, shaking and avoiding contact. Despite her fears, she is easy to handle once in your arms, but it’s important not to rush her. Everything must be done on her terms, allowing trust to grow slowly and gently over time.

A resident dog is essential for Darling. As she has never lived in a home before, she will need a canine companion to help guide her through housetraining, lead walking, and all the basics of home life.

Due to her fearful nature, Darling would be best suited to an adult-only home. A calm and predictable environment will give her the space she needs to settle in and begin building trust with her new adopters.

Darling has arrived with cauliflower ear (a thickened pinna) in her right ear and has had 14 teeth extracted at the time of her spay, so will benefit from a soft food diet.

With patience, kindness, and the support of another dog, Darling has the potential to gently blossom into a loving little companion.
