08-08-25 Aloe Vera is a beautiful, petite little lady who has come to us from a breeder. She is a very nervous girl who finds the world a little overwhelming right now. Hand-shy and unsure, she prefers not to be approached suddenly and may cower when she feels worried. Because of this, Aloe Vera will need to be handled with patience, gentleness, and care.

She would be happiest in a calm, quiet home where she can feel safe and take her time to build trust. Aloe Vera has never lived in a home before, so she will need to learn all about house training and how to walk on a lead. For now, peaceful garden sniffs will be a lovely way to help her grow in confidence without feeling pressured.

Aloe Vera will need a kind, confident resident dog in her new home, someone to be her friend, guide, and teacher, showing her the ropes and helping her understand that the world can be a safe and happy place. With time, love, and the steady reassurance of a canine companion, we know it won’t take long for this sweet girl to start coming out of her shell and showing the gentle, loving heart that’s been there all along.

Aloe Vera has come to us with multiple missing teeth and had 7 extracted at the time of her spay. She also has cataracts in both eyes which will need to be monitored in her new home. The vets have started her on eye medication for conjunctivitis in her left eye which will be reassessed at a later date.
