  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet, adult only home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I will need a kind resident dog to take me under their wing. I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am learning to walk on a lead, but it's still very new for me.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

12-08-25 Erica has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a very shut-down girl at the moment who is feeling completely overwhelmed by all the changes in her life. When approached, she will often lay down and try to make herself as small as possible in the hope of hiding away.

Despite her fears, Erica is easy to handle, and once you spend some quiet time with her, she does begin to come out of her shell, showing tiny glimpses of the brave and beautiful dog she can become. She will need a calm and quiet, adult only home with adopters who have experience with scared ex-breeding dogs and understand the patience and gentleness she will need to thrive.

Erica must have at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home who can take her under their wing and be her friend. She has never lived in a home before, so she will need kindness and understanding as she learns all about home life, including new skills like house training.

She is starting to learn to walk on a lead, but will need more time and practice to gain confidence.

In the right home, with love, understanding, and the guidance of her new doggy friend, Erica will slowly start to blossom into the precious companion she was always meant to be.
