  • Human family requirements

I would like a home filled with love and kindness!

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day.

  • Training needs

I walk well on the lead but will need help with housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

Arden is a sweet-natured German Shepherd who has come to us from her breeder in search of a fresh start. She will happily approach in her kennel to say hello and offer gentle kisses on your hands, though sudden movements can still cause her to lose confidence, and she may retreat to the back of her kennel for reassurance. Arden has been easy to handle during her check-ups, and she continues to build her confidence every day.

She is still a little timid around people, but clearly wants to approach for love and fusses once she feels safe. Arden walks well on the lead, though she can get distracted when trying to give kisses, and she enjoys interacting with other dogs. She gets along wonderfully with both smaller, bouncy dogs and dogs larger than herself, demonstrating her fantastic temperament and friendly, adaptable personality.

As she has never lived in a home before, Arden will need to learn the basics of home life, including housetraining and lead walking, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she will make steady progress. We believe she would thrive in a home with another confident dog who can act as a source of comfort, companionship, and guidance, helping her settle in and adjust to life as a beloved pet.

Arden has some old scars on her face, but they do not detract from her beauty or her sweet nature. With the right support and understanding, she will blossom into a loyal, loving, and affectionate companion.
