13-08-25 August is a beautiful but very nervous Samoyed who has come to us from her breeder in search of a calm and gentle new life.

She is still unsure about people and can be suspicious of our intentions when we approach her. August may startle easily, but if you move slowly and with care, she begins to relax and accept gentle handling.

We believe she will need another dog in the home to act as a much-needed source of comfort and guidance, helping her to settle in and learn all about the comforts of living indoors.

As she has never lived in a home before, August will need patient guidance with housetraining, lead walking, and other basics of home life. Lead introductions should start slowly in a secure garden, with the resident dog nearby for reassurance.

August will be happiest in an adult-only home, where she can build trust at her own pace without sudden noises or fast movements.

With time, patience, and the steady presence of a kind companion dog, August has every chance to blossom into a loving and loyal friend.
