I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I am learning to walk on a lead, but it's still very new for me.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I am neutered and ready to find my forever home!

Loot is a very sweet but worried boy who came to us from a breeder back in November 2024. When he first arrived, he was completely shut down, unsure how to be a dog, and overwhelmed by human contact. He didn’t know how to play, what a treat was, or why other dogs were excited for their dinner. With time, patience, and kindness, he has begun to blossom and is slowly learning how to enjoy life.

After many months in rescue, Loot will now do happy dances for his meals, take treats with joy, and even play with toys and his kennel friends. He relies heavily on other dogs for comfort and confidence, so he will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in his new home to help guide him.

Loot is still hand-shy and cautious with touch, but he will approach calmly if you sit quietly. He wants to be close, often sitting nearby to share your company, but sudden movements still make him back away. With gentle handling and continued reassurance, we know he will grow braver, step by step.

He has started learning to walk on a harness and lead and is making great progress, though he’ll need continued practice to feel fully confident. He has never lived in a home before, so his adopters will need to be kind, patient, and understanding as he learns new skills such as house training.

Loot will need a calm and quiet, adult-only home with experienced adopters who understand the needs of scared ex-breeding dogs. He is a clever boy who, with time and love, will truly flourish. He’ll also need regular trips to the groomer to keep his beautiful coat comfortable and manageable.

Loot is a very special soul who has already come such a long way on his journey. Now, he just needs the right people to help him settle in to his forever home.

Loot has a travel document.
