Dimple is a very shy girl who came to us from a breeder and is still finding the world a bit overwhelming. She has been with us for a little while now and is slowly gaining confidence, but she still struggles in kennels and needs time to feel safe.

Dimple wants to approach people but isn’t quite brave enough yet to fully engage. She may be vocal when meeting new people and often prefers to watch from behind her doggy friends as they get the fusses. She is much more relaxed around other dogs and enjoys spending time with them in the yard, exploring and following their lead. Because of this, she must have at least one kind resident dog in her new home to help her continue building her confidence.

She has recently started the first steps of harness training and is accepting gentle handling. With patience and reassurance she will keep progressing. Dimple has never lived in a home before, so she will need help with house training, lead walking and learning all the routines of family life. Having a confident dog to copy will really help her.

During her spay, Dimple had seven teeth removed and will benefit from a soft food diet going forward.

Dimple is a sweet but very nervous girl who needs a calm, understanding home where she can take things at her own pace. With the right support, she will continue to grow in confidence and learn that people can be kind.
