  • Human family requirements

I’d be happy with dog-savvy children who respect my space.

  • Other pet requirements

I could live with other dogs or be an only dog but I haven't met cats yet.

  • House and garden requirements

I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’d enjoy one or two quiet walks a day and plenty of cuddle time.

  • Training needs

I’m learning to walk on the lead but still need to master housetraining.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

13-08-25 Ivy is a wonderful Cockapoo who has come to us from her breeder in search of a fresh start.

She is a happy, friendly, and confident girl who is full of love and always ready to share it. Ivy has been a delight with the other dogs here in the kennels and would be more than happy living with another dog for company. That said, she loves human companionship just as much, so we think she could also thrive as the only dog in the right home.

As Ivy has never lived in a home before, she will need to learn about house training and the other basics of home life. If she is the only dog in the household, her new family will need to set aside time and patience to help her master these skills. If she joins a home with another dog, she will likely pick things up more quickly by following their lead.

Ivy is already making good progress with her lead training, so once she has settled in, she will be ready to enjoy one or two lovely walks around the neighbourhood each day.

We feel Ivy could live with older, dog-savvy children who will enjoy spending time with her while also respecting her space as she adjusts.

With her cheerful nature and loving personality, Ivy will make a fantastic addition to her new family.
