Delilah is a sweet, shy little girl who has come to us from a breeder. She hadn't experienced much kindness before arriving with us, and so she relies heavily on her kennel friends, cuddling up close to them because that is where she feels safe.

Despite her timid nature, Delilah is gentle and easy to handle. She has definitely made progress since she arrived, and it’s clear that she is slowly beginning to let her guard down, though she still has a long way to go. She is comfortable enough to approach for small sniffs and licks and will readily take treats, but that is the extent of her interactions so far. She greatly enjoys her food, which has been the main tool used to help her feel more at ease in company.

What Delilah needs most is a calm, quiet, adult-only home with at least one kind resident dog to be her friend and show her the ropes. They must be happy to share their beds and allow her to snuggle up to them if she wants to.

Delilah has never lived in a home before, so the sights, sounds, and routines of home life will be brand new to her. She’ll need patient guidance to learn house training and to feel comfortable going out in the garden. Starting her lead training in the garden will help her gain confidence before venturing into the big wide world is a must for Delilah.

She has an overbite, which doesn't cause her any problems and just adds to her cuteness

This precious girl is looking for someone with time, patience, and a heart full of love to help her discover the joys of home life. She absolutely loves curling up in a soft, fluffy blanket, so having her own beds and a sofa in a home of her own would be a dream come true for her. If anyone has space in their heart and home for one more little companion, this lovely girl would be a wonderful addition.
