16-08-25 Dilly has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. She is a sweet but very nervous little girl who is feeling rather overwhelmed to find herself here. Despite her worries, she is easy to scoop up and very accepting of gentle handling, showing us there is a brave little soul inside just waiting to shine once she feels safe.

Dilly will need a calm and quiet home where she can settle in at her own pace without pressure. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and help her to settle in.

She has never lived in a home before, so everything will be brand new to her, and she will need patient adopters who can help her learn all about home life and new skills like house training. She doesn't yet walk on a lead and so will need to practice in a secure garden, while she gains confidence.

Dilly has had a large mammary lump removed at the time of her spay. She also had a dental and had 3 teeth extracted and our vet noted she was already missing several. Our vets have also noted that she has some tension in her back legs, which has been further assessed and our vets cannot find an issue so think it may be down to being nervous.

With time, patience and lots of love, Dilly will blossom into the happy, cherished companion she deserves to be.

Dilly has been given the Gift of Life by Nicola Duncan
