Dakota came to us from a breeder, ready to leave her old life behind and start her journey toward the forever home she so deserves. From the moment she arrived, she stole all of our hearts and to this day, she remains one of the sweetest, most loving Chow Chows we’ve ever had the joy of knowing.

Dakota is a gentle soul with the softest nature, and her love for people is impossible to miss. The moment you step into her space, she’ll come straight over to greet you with her warm eyes and gentle paw, asking for fuss and cuddles. And once you start, she’ll happily remind you not to stop, she’s the ultimate cuddle buddy, ready to be your shadow and your best friend. It’s impossible not to fall in love with her.

She has blossomed so beautifully during her time with us. Dakota walks wonderfully on the lead and would love to join her family on adventures. She is confident enough to be the only dog in a home but would also happily share her life with kind, resident dogs. We would also consider her living alongside dog-savvy teenagers.

Though Dakota has never lived in a home before, she is already showing signs of being clean and is very likely to pick up house training quickly with a little guidance. Each day she proves just how smart and adaptable she is.

Our vets are monitoring a small inguinal hernia, and she arrived with a bit of fur loss on her tail, but none of this dims her light or her joy. Dakota is truly special, she has so much love to give and so much life to live.

It breaks our hearts that she’s still waiting, watching the seasons change from inside a kennel. She deserves to spend her days in a warm, loving home, not in the cold of winter. We know the right family is out there a family who will see what we see: that Dakota is pure love wrapped in fur. If you have room in your heart and home, please consider giving this perfect girl the forever family she has been waiting for.

She has arrived with an inguinal hernia which has been repaired at the time of her spay, and has some fur loss on her tail.

Dakota has a travel document.
