Jessie
Jessie is a gentle and charming Cocker Spaniel who has come to us from a breeder. She has a wonderfully amusing personality and can often be seen putting on a confident front at the front of her kennel, running up and showing off, but as soon as someone enters, she becomes very timid. Jessie is quite skittish and will need a patient, sensitive family to help her feel safe and gradually build her confidence.
We believe Jessie would thrive with another friendly dog in the home who can provide reassurance and act as a supportive companion. Having never lived in a home before, she will also need guidance with house training, lead training, and learning the routines of everyday life. Her ideal home will be calm and adult-only, giving her the space to relax and settle without too much hustle and bustle.
Jessie has been spayed and has had a bilateral entropion repaired in both eyes at the time of the procedure. She also has some hair loss, which may be hormonal, and our vets will investigate further. She is currently a little underweight, but with a good diet and the opportunity to feel safe and relaxed, we are confident she will gain weight and flourish.
Jessie is ready to find her forever home, where she will be loved, supported, and given the patience and kindness she deserves. With time, gentle guidance, and the reassurance of a calm environment, Jessie will continue to blossom into the affectionate, delightful companion she truly is.
