Dawn is a stunning chow who has truly blossomed since arriving with us. After spending the last few years in a breeding environment, life is still very new to her, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she has grown into a confident, affectionate, and delightful girl.

She loves following you from the kennel to the yard, nudging your hand for attention, and having a little mooch around before settling into a comfy spot. Dawn walks beautifully on the lead, though she does get distracted by her surroundings, understandable after her previous life. She is very happy to greet staff members and is always ready to accept fuss and a tasty treat or two.

While Dawn initially needed a canine companion to help her settle, she has shown she can thrive as an only dog in the right home. A calm, patient environment with dog-savvy teenagers could also be a good fit. Dawn is a gentle, loving soul who will reward her adopters with loyalty, affection, and plenty of charming personality.

Dawn has a slight notch in her left eye and has had an entropion repair in both eyes, upper and lower. With love, patience, and understanding, Dawn will continue to flourish and become the devoted companion she was always meant to be.

Dawn has a travel document.
