Izzy is a sweet little girl who came to us from a breeder and has been learning all about the big wide world. When she first arrived, everything felt overwhelming and she leaned heavily on her kennel friends for comfort. But now, after spending time in a loving foster home, Izzy has blossomed into the most affectionate little companion and is showing us just how much love she has to give.

Izzy adores her humans and her favourite thing is to cuddle up on your lap or snuggle next to you on the sofa. She has gained so much confidence and in the right circumstances, she could now be an only dog, provided her new family are around for most of the day to keep her company. If she is to live with other dogs, they will need to be larger than her, as Izzy can sometimes be a little dominant with smaller dogs. She is currently sharing her foster home with a golden retriever and a labradoodle and absolutely loves joining them on adventures, whether that’s a car ride or a long walk.

As Izzy has never lived in a home before coming into rescue, her adopters will need to continue helping her learn all about house training, lead walking, and the routines of family life. She is bright, eager to please, and with patience and kindness will continue to flourish.

Izzy will be looking for a calm and quiet adult-only home where she can take things at her own pace. With reassurance, time, and love, Izzy will reward her adopters with loyalty, joy, and endless cuddles.
