Chobie is a very sweet and sensitive collie who came to us from a breeder. When he first arrived, everything felt a little overwhelming, and he was shy and unsure of the world around him. But with patience, kindness, and gentle reassurance, Chobie has blossomed into the happiest, most loving boy who greets us every morning with a waggy tail and the sweetest little nudge for more cuddles.

He has truly discovered just how wonderful love can be. Chobie adores attention, is calm and gentle, and never misses a chance to share his affection. Out on walks, he loves to explore and take in all the sniffs, he’s curious, bright, and full of potential.

Chobie shines in the company of other dogs and gets along beautifully with his kennel friends. For this reason, he will need a home with at least one other confident dog who can guide him as he continues to learn all about home life for the very first time. He has never lived in a home before, so everything will be new to him, but his clever collie brain will soon pick things up with support and patience.

Chobie is still building up his weight and strength, but once he’s there, he will need an active home where he can enjoy plenty of exercise and adventures. He is looking for an adult-only home, as he is still a sensitive soul who thrives best in a calm and understanding environment. He is currently being treated for conjunctivitis.

Chobie has already come such a long way since arriving with us, and he has stolen all of our hearts. With the right family, he is sure to become the most loyal, loving, and special companion you could ever wish for.
