22-08-25 Davina is a sweet and gentle girl who has joined us from a breeder. She is the nicest lady, and although she can sometimes be a little spooked, she is slowly building her trust and confidence each day. She gets along beautifully with other dogs, and we know she will need a kind resident dog in her new home to help guide her, reassure her, and show her the ropes of family life. With a little canine support, her true personality will shine through.

Davina already walks nicely on a lead, but as she has never lived in a home before, everything will be new to her. She will need patient adopters who can kindly teach her about house training and all the other skills that come with home life. When she feels secure, Davina’s personality really starts to peek through, she’ll even bounce up for a fuss when she sees her doggy friends doing the same, which is such a joy to see.

Like any retriever, Davina would love an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks and adventures, but she would be equally delighted with cosy cuddle time and naps on the sofa. With kindness, patience, and a resident dog to lean on, this lovely lady will blossom into the most devoted companion.
