Wisteria
Wisteria is an absolute little sweetheart who has come to us from a breeder, and she is now ready to find the loving forever home she so deserves. This gentle girl is a bit on the shy side, she may not come straight to you at first, but once she’s in your arms, her trust and affection are easy to earn. She has now moved to a foster home where she is settling in well and coming out of her shell.
Wisteria will thrive in a calm home where she can slowly settle and learn what it truly means to be loved. She will need another confident resident dog in her new home, who can show her the ropes of home life, the everyday noises, routines, and comforts she has yet to experience. She has met cats and so could possibly be homed with a dog-savvy cat in the right home. We would consider homing her with dog savvy teenagers.
Wisteria had never lived in a home before moving to her foster home, but she has adapted to home life well and is now 90% house trained.
Wisteria has begun walking on the lead and is improving every single day. Each small step forward is a big achievement for her, and we’re so proud of the bravery she’s showing. She’s beginning to show little glimmers of confidence, and we know that with time, patience, and lots of love, she will continue to blossom.
Our vets have noted that she has a slightly enlarged area in one of her mammary glands, but this does not require any action. She also has slightly abducted hocks in her hind legs, which aren't causing her any issues and may improve as she gains muscle tone, but will need to be monitored.
This sweet lady has so much love to give, and with the right family, she is bound to bloom beautifully in her new home.
