I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a doggy friend in my new home. I've never met cats so I'm unsure!

  • House and garden requirements

I’m frightened and will need a secure garden to learn about being outside.

  • Out and about requirements

I am too scared to go out for walks right now and will need a careful introduction.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I need to learn lead walking and house manners.

  • Medical issues

I have a grade 2-3 luxating patella and have had 4 teeth extracted. Read below!

Harper is a gorgeous little lady who came to us from her breeder seeking a fresh start. She’s always been a sweet, gentle soul, though initially very shy and cautious. Over the past few months at the rescue, Harper’s personality is slowly starting to shine through, revealing a comical, cheeky, and inquisitive little character. She’s VERY foodie and always keen to see what you’re up to, especially if treats are involved!

Harper is still cautious around people and isn’t yet comfortable being handled or seeking cuddles, but she is gradually getting used to being picked up. She recently had a professional groom with one of our volunteer groomers and was incredibly brave, only a little wriggly around her feet (which is completely normal!).

Having never lived in a home, Harper will need patient guidance as she learns house training, lead walking, and the routines of domestic life. She thrives on the company of other calm dogs and will need a home with a reassuring canine companion who can help her feel safe and confident and can take her under their wing as she continues to grow.

Harper has had 4 teeth extracted and has a Grade 3 luxating patella that will need to be monitored.

Harper finds busy kennel life overwhelming, so a quiet, adult-only home where she can receive plenty of 1-on-1 attention will help her truly blossom. She deserves to feel loved, secure, and like she finally has a place to call her own.
