10-09-25 Haiku is a wiggly-tailed sweetheart with so much love to give. She’s a gentle, sensitive lady who has come to us from a breeder and is still finding her confidence, but you can see in every wag, glance, and hopeful look that she truly wants to shine. Haiku is curious about the world and the people in it, and with the right encouragement, she will grow in courage and joy every day.

This lovely girl would thrive in a calm, understanding home with a kind resident dog, ideally Retriever-sized or larger who can offer reassurance, guidance, and friendship as she learns about life outside the kennel. She adores the company of other dogs and finds comfort in their presence, so having a patient companion by her side will help her feel safe and supported.

Haiku is on the larger side, but she is gentle and soft-hearted. Once she’s in the right environment, she won’t take long to settle, relax, and show her true personality: playful, affectionate, and full of waggy-tail happiness. She will need a family who has the time and patience to help her learn about home life, including lead walking, house routines, and the joys of cuddles on the sofa.

With love, gentle guidance, and plenty of reassurance, Haiku will blossom into the devoted, joyful, and loving companion she was always meant to be. She’s ready to find her forever home, a place where she can feel safe, flourish, and finally let her bright, beautiful spirit shine.

Haiku has come to us with a low-grade heart murmur as well as a low-grade luxating patella that will need gentle exercise. She will need to see her future vets for the possibility of any future treatment that may be necessary.
