Hasty
Hasty came to us from a breeder and, at first, was a very worried little soul who found comfort only in the company of other dogs. She has been showing such bravery in her foster home and is making steady, heartwarming progress as she learns to trust and enjoy life.
When she first arrived, Hasty was wary of people, but with patience and gentle care, she now happily takes treats from her fosterers’ hands and even enjoys a soft stroke. She’s respectful and calm around the other dogs in her foster home and has even met the chickens, showing only polite curiosity before moving on to more interesting things!
Hasty has made great strides with her house training and is almost there, thanks to regular garden visits and routine. She sleeps peacefully downstairs in the kitchen all night without a sound and has become accustomed to all the normal household noises.
Out and about, Hasty truly shines. She walks beautifully on her lead and harness, loving her long walks and wagging her tail with delight as she explores the world. She’s not fazed by passing traffic and, while she can be cautious when meeting new people, she gains confidence when given time to pause and take things at her own pace.
Hasty will need a calm, patient home with adopters who can continue to nurture her confidence and celebrate each little step she takes. She must have at least one kind and confident resident dog to guide her, as canine company helps her feel safe and secure.
This lovely girl has already shown so much courage and determination. With a little more time, love, and understanding, Hasty will continue to blossom into the happy, playful, and loving companion she was always meant to be.
