13-09-25 Taz is a very handsome gentleman who has found himself with us through no fault of his own, after his beloved owner very sadly passed away. His whole world has been turned upside down and he is utterly heartbroken and bewildered to find himself here.

Despite all these sudden changes, Taz has shown himself to be the sweetest soul. He is friendly, easy to handle and just such a gentle, loving boy. What he longs for now is a calm and quiet retirement home where he can settle at his own pace and be surrounded once more by the love and comfort he has always known.

Taz would be happy to be homed as an only dog as long as his adopters are home most of the time to keep him company. He could also live alongside another kind and gentle dog, but he isn't too keen on bouncy or energetic dogs. We are told that he is fine around children, so would consider homing him with calm and gentle, dog savvy older children. He can bark at cats, so will be looking for a cat free home.

We are told Taz is house trained, though since losing his owner he has had a few accidents, which is perfectly understandable in such sad and confusing circumstances. With patience and gentle reminders, he will soon find his paws again.

Taz does have some age related cataracts and so his vision doesn't appear to be great, but he doesn't let this hold him back. He also has a fatty lump on his thigh.

It's heartbreaking to see Taz in kennels, knowing that all he has ever known is a loving home, so please don't leave him waiting as he absolutely deserves to be curled up in a soft and cosy bed again as soon as possible.
