Melon
15-09-25 Melon is a very special little girl who has come to us from a breeder. She is looking for a quiet, understanding home where she can feel safe and take things at her own pace.
Although Melon isn’t confident enough yet to come straight up to people, she does enjoy being around her canine friends and will happily come out with them to say hello. Having the company of another kind, resident dog will be very important for her, as they will give her reassurance and help guide her as she learns all about life in a loving home.
Melon could live with older, dog-savvy children who will respect her space and allow her to gain confidence slowly. She will need to learn all the basics, including house training and walking on a lead, but with time and patience she will make wonderful progress.
This sweet girl has so much love to give and, with kindness and understanding, she will gradually open up and blossom. In the right home, Melon will be able to put her difficult past behind her and enjoy the happy, secure life she truly deserves.
Melon has come to us with sore ears and snotty nose which she is receiving treatment for and has been diagnosed with a low grade slipping patella. She will need gentle exercise to build her strength and her adopters will need to be aware of this as it may not be covered by insurance.
