16-09-25 Marshmallow is a shy and sweet little girl who has come to us from a breeder. Understandably, she finds all these changes quite overwhelming and is still unsure of our intentions, but she is a gentle soul who accepts handling well and shows us glimpses of the lovely companion she will become with time and patience.

She feels much happier and more relaxed when she is with her kennel friends, so it will be very important for her to have a happy, confident resident dog in her new home. This will give her the reassurance she needs and help her learn all about the comforts of home life. Marshmallow will need to learn the basics like walking on a lead and house training.

Marshmallow has not known much kindness or experience of the wider world before, so everything is new to her. She will need a calm and understanding family who can offer her the TLC she has missed out on, and who will give her the chance to settle at her own pace. She should be fine to live with older, dog-savvy teenagers who can respect her need for space and quiet while she builds her confidence.

With time, love, and patience, Marshmallow will blossom into a devoted and loyal companion. She has so much potential and is just waiting for that special home who can show her the world is a safe and happy place.

Marshmallow has come to us with a low grade slipping patella and will require gentle exercise and a follow up with her vet. Her adopters need to be aware of this as it may not be covered by insurance.
