17-09-25 This beautiful 9-year-old Cocker Spaniel has spent her life as a working gun dog, but now finds herself looking for a forever home in her golden years. It’s always heartbreaking to see a dog who has given so much end up here, when she should be enjoying a well-earned retirement filled with love, comfort, and kindness.

But while her story may bring tears, it also brings hope because for the very first time, she now has the chance to discover what it truly means to be part of a family. To curl up on a sofa, to potter in a garden, to be loved not for the work she can do, but simply for who she is.

Don’t be fooled by her age, she is still active, smart, and full of life. She walks beautifully on a lead, is confident in herself, and would adore a home that can give her the best of both worlds: adventures and stimulation to keep her busy little spaniel brain ticking, as well as plenty of time to snooze and relax at your side.

She can happily be an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention for herself, or she can live with other dogs who will share her gentle company. As she has never lived in a home before, house training will be new to her, but she is such a clever girl that we’re sure she will pick it up quickly with a patient and understanding family.

Bear has had a health assessment by our vets and is developing cataracts in both eyes but this does not seem to be bothering her at this time. She has been treated for sore ears and has a small pea size lump on her chest that the vets do not believe is an issue a this time.

This lady deserves the world. She deserves to spend her golden years wrapped in love, warmth, and safety, finally living the life every dog dreams of.

Can live with other dogs
