Icka is a gorgeous and gentle lady who came to us from a breeder and has been an absolute dream since the day she arrived. She is the sweetest, most affectionate girl who adores people and loves nothing more than a cuddle, a kind word, and a game of fetch!

When she first came to us, we described her as a gentle lady full of love and that couldn’t be more true. She’s blossomed into a calm, confident girl who enjoys her walks, her playtime, and the company of both people and other dogs. She’s always polite and well-mannered, whether she’s out exploring or relaxing by your side.

Icka walks beautifully on a lead and loves heading out on adventures with our volunteers. She’s very sociable with other dogs and is incredibly tolerant of her kennel friends, she’s even been known to share her toys and space without complaint! She could live as an only dog or with another kind, confident canine companion of a similar size or larger.

Icka is completely kennel clean, so we believe she’ll pick up house training quickly once in a home environment. She’s playful but gentle, with a true Rottweiler heart, loyal, loving, and eager to please. She absolutely loves playing fetch and will happily let you take the ball from her mouth before bounding off for another round.

Icka does have slightly bowed hind legs, but this doesn’t slow her down in the slightest. She’s a strong, happy girl who enjoys life to the fullest. She’s also had a few minor medical issues checked over by our vets, including a healed wound on her ear, some non-ulcerative eye patches, and a small lump behind her hip, which has been removed. None of these are causing her any concern.

Icka cannot live with cats or small furries, but she could live with dog-savvy older teenagers who will enjoy her affectionate, goofy side.

Icka is a big, soft-hearted girl with a true zest for life and so much love to give. She’s stolen all our hearts here at the rescue, and we can’t believe she’s still waiting for her forever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will be your best friend through every adventure, Icka could be the one for you.
