18-09-25 Cleo is a beautiful 9-year-old Labrador who has come to us from a breeder, after spending her life as a working gun dog. Now, in her golden years, she is looking for something she has never truly known before, a forever home where she can finally be loved and cherished as part of a family.

Despite her past, Cleo’s spirit remains bright. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who adores people, still has energy in her, and walks happily on a lead. What she longs for now is a soft sofa to curl up on, gentle hands to fuss her, and the comfort of knowing she will never be overlooked again. Cleo may need help with house training but she is a quick learner and eager to please!

Cleo is good with other dogs and would be happy to share her new home with canine companions, or she can just as easily enjoy being the only dog, soaking up all the love and attention for herself. She has met cats well and so could possibly be homed with a dog savvy cat.

Cleo has been spayed and has had multiple pea sized lumps as well as a tiny wart on the left bottom eyelid removed at the time of her spay. She also has a tiny wart lesion on the right front leg and behind the distal end of the radius which our vets believe do not need to be removed at this time.

After giving so much in her working life, Cleo deserves a home filled with kindness, warmth, and the joy of simply being a beloved pet. She’s ready for this new chapter, and for the family who will see just how special she truly is.
