Petunia
Petunia is a stunning lady who has come a long way since leaving her life as a breeding girl. When she first arrived from a breeder, she was understandably nervous and timid, needing a calm and gentle environment where she could begin to feel safe and learn to trust.
Since joining foster, Petunia has shown incredible bravery and blossomed beautifully. She now adores human affection, offering gentle, loving licks to her special person. Her personality is emerging in the most delightful ways, she even does a little excited run to the back of your leg before performing an adorable skip! She has met children well in foster and we would consider homing her with dog-savvy older children, that are 5+.
Petunia walks comfortably on a lead and is learning to focus ahead rather than looking up for reassurance, showing just how confident she is becoming. She travels beautifully, sleeps peacefully through the night, and has been completely house-trained from day one.
She has been tested with a cat and remained completely unbothered. Petunia gets along well with all the other dogs she meets and thrives on their company, so a kind resident dog would be ideal to help her settle and feel secure.
Petunia isn’t quite jumping onto laps yet but happily hangs around, waiting to be picked up and snuggled. She has had a wart removed from the left side.
Petunia has come such a long way from the timid girl in her original picture. She is utterly adorable, full of love, and will make a devoted companion for her very special forever family.
