Blue
Blue originally came to us a few months ago after his owner sadly became homeless and could no longer keep him. He was briefly adopted but has sadly been returned to our care as he could be quite strong on the lead and was reactive to other dogs on walks and his adopter was unable to manage this.
Blue will be looking for an active home with adopters who have experience with dogs who can be reactive and who will help work on this with him. He loves his walks and can be very strong on the lead, even when wearing a halti and so his adopters will need to be able to manage this.
In the right home, Blue is going to make a fantastic adventure buddy for an active family who love being outdoors. He’s a confident lad who could be homed as an only dog in the right circumstances, as long as his adopters are around most of the time to keep him company. He is kenneled with other dogs here and so could live with another kind resident dog. He cannot live with cats or small furries.
Blue has lived in a home before, so he may already have some house training, though he’ll likely need a little time and patience to help him settle back into home life. This gorgeous boy has been through a lot recently, but his loving spirit shines through, and he’s so ready to find a forever family to call his own.
Could you be the one to give Blue the second chance he truly deserves?
