  • Human family requirements

I need a calm and quiet home where I can settle in at my own pace.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I would like a secure garden to spend time in.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

I have never lived in a home so I will need help to learn house training.

  • Medical issues

I have had surgery to fix my patella luxation & I am recovering well!

This lovely little girl is Pippin. She came to us from a breeder back in October to find her forever home and when she arrived it was noted by our vets that she had patella luxation in her right hind leg, which was causing her to walk with a crab like gait. She had a Tibial Tuberosity Transposition surgery performed by a specialist and has spent the last several weeks recovering, first on crate rest before being allowed to gradually use her leg more to build up strength. She is still a little lame in this leg, but this should continue to improve as she builds muscle and gradually increases her exercise. She has also had one tooth removed at the time of her spay, plus a small pea size lump removed. She doesn’t have many teeth left and as a result pulls some very sweet faces sometimes which everyone loves.

Pippin is a quiet little soul who enjoys spending a lot of her day tucked up in her bed. When she first arrived, she was very worried and overwhelmed to find herself here, but she has started to come out of her shell and is now a lot more comfortable around humans. She's very easy to handle, but she isn't too keen on fuss and attention at the moment. She's a very laid back girl, but completely comes to life when it's dinner time and it's the most adorable thing to witness!

Pippin will be looking for a calm and quiet home, where she can settle in at her own pace. She will need at least one other kind and confident resident dog in her new home to be her friend and companion, ideally one that will let her snuggle up with them and share toys with her. She wasn’t overly fussed on toys when she first arrived but when she saw how much her kennel buddy enjoyed them it was like a little lightbulb moment. She doesn’t always play with them but likes to collect them in her bed and occasionally have a little play, which is very sweet.

Pippin has never lived in a home before, so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She has started to go for little explores outside, but hasn't fully started to learn about walking on a lead and harness yet, but we will start this with her soon now that she has recovered from her surgery.

Pippin has completely stolen everyones heart over the last few weeks and we cannot wait to see her find her forever home. Everyone that meets her falls in love with how adorable she is.

Pippin has a travel document.
