Pumpkin Pie is a very special little boy who has come to us from a breeder and is now looking for his forever home. He can be a little wary of people and takes time to trust, but with patience, kindness, and gentle handling, he has the potential to blossom into a loving and playful companion.

Pumpkin Pie loves playing with his doggy friends and will thrive in a calm, adult-only home with at least one kind resident dog to guide him and help him gain confidence. He will need someone experienced with nervous or ex-breeding dogs who can allow him to settle at his own pace and give him the time and reassurance he needs.

He does still mouth hands and may nip at legs when people he doesn’t know move past him. While this is improving with time and gentle handling, it is something his future adopters will need to manage carefully. For this reason, he cannot live with children, either resident or visiting.

Pumpkin Pie will also need a secure garden and careful, gradual lead walking to help him continue building his confidence.
