I need an adult-only home where I can feel safe and loved.

  • Other pet requirements

I need a resident dog to help me settle in and I have never met cats.

  • House and garden requirements

I’m still shy, so I will need a secure garden while I get used to my new home.

  • Out and about requirements

I’ve never been on walks before and will need a gentle introduction.

  • Training needs

Please be patient with me, I'm nervous and learning everything from scratch.

  • Medical issues

I am spayed and ready to find my forever home.

03-10-25 Penny is a sweet little girl who has come to us from a breeder. She may be nervous at first, but when you go to see her, her tail starts to wag, showing the loving companion she’s waiting to become.

Penny would love a quiet, cozy, adult-only home where she can feel safe and secure as she learns about the world. She will need to start with the basics, including house training and gentle introductions to new experiences, and she would much prefer starting with calm garden sniffs rather than heading straight out on walks.

Penny has come to us with a low grade slipping patella felt on the left leg that could improve with gentle exercise but the adopters will need to be aware as future treatment may not be covered by insurance. The vets are also monitoring her for an abnormal gait, but doesn't seem to pose any issue at this time.

To help her settle and gain confidence, Penny will need a kind, confident resident dog by her side to show her that life can be full of comfort and kindness. With patience, reassurance, and love, this little lady will slowly blossom and become a loyal companion.

Penny has a travel document.
