Esta is a beautiful girl who came to us from a breeder to begin her search for the loving forever home she truly deserves. When she first arrived, she found the world quite overwhelming and preferred to curl up safely in her duvet at the back of her kennel. She hadn’t had much experience with humans before, so being handled and meeting new people were all very new and worrying for her.

With time, patience, and gentle reassurance, Esta has started to come out of her shell. She is still a sensitive soul, but she is showing more confidence every day. Once she realises you mean her no harm, she’s happy to seek out a fuss and enjoys gentle affection. Her sweet, thoughtful nature shines through more and more as she learns to trust. Don’t be fooled by her serious little pout, that’s just her camera face!

Esta is still a little unsure of the outside world, but she is making wonderful progress and is now more confident than some of her kennel friends. With love and encouragement, we’re sure she will continue to blossom in a calm and understanding home.

She will need at least one kind and confident resident dog to help guide her and show her the ropes of home life. As she’s never lived in a home before, everything from walking on a lead to learning about household sounds will be new to her, so her adopters will need to be patient and gentle as she adjusts.

Esta has some medical needs her new family will need to continue caring for. She has a Grade 3 heart murmur that doesn’t require medication at the moment but will need to be monitored by her vet. She also has dry eye, which will require lifelong lubrication drops. Esta arrived missing a few teeth, but that doesn’t bother her one bit, and she’s recently had some small lumps removed along with an umbilical hernia repair during her spay.

Esta is a truly lovely girl with a soft heart who just needs time, love, and the comfort of a canine companion to help her feel safe. In the right home, she will continue to grow in confidence and show the happy, affectionate nature that’s been waiting to shine through.

Esta has a travel document.
