Bonnie
Bonnie is a sweet little girl who has come to us from a breeder to find her forever home. When she first arrived, she was terrified and would run to the back of her kennel and bury herself under the bedding to hide from us whenever she saw us approach. She hadn't been socialised or handled much before, so she was understandably very worried. Fast forward a month and the change we have seen in her is incredible!
She will now run up to you with the wiggliest little bum, tail wagging, ready to ask for fuss and attention. If you stop stroking her, she will even paw you and ask you to continue. She is a delight to spend time with and a total sweetheart. She can live with dog-savvy cats that respect her space.
Bonnie really relies on her kennel friends for comfort and support and they have been vital in helping her learn that human hands can be kind. For this reason, she will be looking for a home where there is at least one other kind and confident resident dog who will be her friend.
Bonnie has never lived in a home before so her adopters will need to be kind and understanding as she settles in and learns all about home life and new skills like house training. She will also need to learn all about walking on a lead and harness, first practicing in a secure garden until she gains more confidence.
She is a wonderful girl and in the right home, we think she is going to truly thrive and whoever adopts her will adore her!
Bonnie has a travel document.
