Tess
04-10-25 Tess is a stunning, kind and gentle girl who has come to us from a home due to her owners ill health. She has a wonderful nature and had been registered as a service dog so is used to going into supermarkets and attending events etc. She has sadly and reluctantly been given up because her owner is needing to go into hospital and will be unable to care for her when she comes out. Her owners ex-partner did try and take Tess but sadly she didn't get along with one of the 5 other dogs in the home. Now she is here waiting for her forever home to find her. As you can imagine Tess is finding the move to kennels very different to home life so we are hoping her stay here is short.
Her previous owner has told us Tess is a very well socialised girl who is good with everyone including children. She loves playing and running around with other dogs. She could be homed with other kind resident dogs, but we think that she might prefer to be the only dog where she can get all the love and attention for herself. She knows commands like "lie down", "stay" and "wait". Her recall is pretty good for a lurcher but not perfect. Tess is fully house trained, is quiet and rarely barks. She is a beautiful, bright, sensitive and lovely dog who loves watching the TV with you.
All in all Tess is a lovely girl who really needs to be back in a home as soon as possible. If you think she could be the girl for you please don't leave her waiting too long. She deserves be be in a home with a lovely garden and people who will love her as much as she will love them.
Can live with other dogs
This dog can be homed with a resident dog.
