Sambucca is a gorgeous little dinky dot of a dog who makes the cutest little grunty noises of pleasure when you touch her. She has come to us from a breeder and is very sweet, but worried about her new surroundings and needs a calm and quiet home to introduce her to home life, which we think she is going to love once she gets used to it.

Before she arrived here Sambucca had never known about soft beds and being stroked, but she has quickly got used to the duvet in her bed and has decided she loves this! She is also happy to be stroked and loved once she knows you.

Sambucca arrived here with a past injury to her outer left ear and is missing some of her back teeth. Her skin is in poor condition, but this should improve with some medicated baths and a good diet. She has been spayed and is ready for her forever home.

Sambucca will need at least one confident dog in her new home to help her settle and have a good play session with. She will watch them and start to copy what they do and this will also help her learn new skills like house training and lead walking. She has started practising these skills in her foster home, but still has a way to go. These may take her time to learn, as the garden may be as scary as the inside of a home at first, but with love, gentle words of encouragement and praise she will gradually start to realise there is nothing to fear, and you will see her start to blossom.
